I’ll let myself down sometimes, but not always. I’ll pick myself back up. Sometimes I won’t want to, but I always will. I won’t shut down. I won’t pull away even when I want to. Even when it’s all I can do. I’ll fight. Fight for my happiness, for love, self love, an endless love. I’ll be as strong as these words one day. Maybe soon, maybe now, maybe never. I’ll fake the strength until it’s all I feel. Until I can’t deny it. Until it can’t deny me. I’ll win. Even if it hurts. Even if I lose sight of the finish line. I’ll win.
